Scabies

J.F. Oberlin used an ointment made of sorrel (yellow dock) grated and mixed with the same amount of flower of sulphur. The ointment had to be left on the skin for three days. He also used an ointment made of the inner bark of glossy buckthorn infused in wine and kneaded into fresh butter.
