Bronchopulmonary pathologies

Pulmonary tuberculosis
J.F. Oberlin recommended a decoction of lungwort or of elecampane. He also used herbal tea made of arnica. For pulmonary tuberculosis, he recommended using St. John’s wort: a handful of St. John’s wort in four pounds of Spanish wine, reduced to a third.
Pleurisy
J.F. Oberlin advised rubbing with warm flannel, drinking nothing but white wine with a few aromatic herbs, and only eating dry food and bread soaked in vinegar.
Pleuropneumonia
J.F. Oberlin had the patient drink herbal tea made of barley or milk, but nothing cold. If the fever was severe, he would let blood.
